Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

Execution of the Production Order and Crop Management :
• To ensure consistent methodology and company policy and procedure in seed production:
• Contract authorized production orders with the best growers, and advises growers on proper management practices in order to meet the sales demand.
• Aide in the planting, spraying and harvesting of contracted and company seed production in order to apply and maintain best practice procedures.
• Supervise rogueing crews and maintain log of off types removed for proper history and QA data.
• Measure fields and prepare production formats after sowing and/or planting in order to ensure accurate data and planning.
• Apply and monitor company standards: i.e., isolation, pest control seed purity, germination, disease, pollination and weed control in order to assure seed quality standards.
• Direct timely control of specific agricultural tasks, identify, mark and/or destroy off-type.
• Evaluate nicking trials, production research trials and all hybrid productions in order to ensure sterility for production technique and yield improvements.

Reporting:
• Through continual communication and distribution of monthly reporting, keep the Area Crop Manager informed of on-going crop production activity and problems in respect to field, purity or germination.
• Timely and accurate delivery of year-end rogueing and nicking trial reports. Engaging in all QHSE activities and effective implementation of all the QHSE Specific Key requirements. Overall responsibility to ensure the functional compliance to QHSE Global and all relevant local QHSE legislation and to ensure all safety measures are maintained.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Science/agriculture
• 5 years of experience in farming and/or agronomic practices
• 20 more grower management.
• Ability to communicate in local languages
• Ability of written communication record and inspection report
• Traveling in the field with 2 wheels vehicle
• Negotiation skill with growers
